I downloaded MC from the official website. When I attempt to launch Launcher Installer, it appears with the message "Making things amazing" and the progress bar isn't moving. I've tried closing it and trying to open it again. I also tried closing it and opening it. If this doesn't work, then I'm trying Java edition.
Many users haven't been able to solve issues with the new launcher that was released on November 2.
Assuming that you own the game and aren't on GamePass download and install the Windows 7/8 launcher. It's the launcher that they call "the launcher" we've used for years. what about (Link)
To stop the upgrade nag, click the old launcher shortcut to set compatibility to Windows 8 under the Compatibility tab.
you are a life saver! I downloaded it and it didn't install. I had the same problem as the person who posted this. It worked!
PSScroll down the link and you'll find an an option which says launcher for Windows 7/8 and downloads are available from there. I'm dumb, I continued to download windows 10/11 repeatedly and again.
